The Yinyinshi Qinpu has unsurpassed musicological and cultural value. Furthermore, its elegant calligraphy and traditional design should be of great interest to all collectors of fine objets d'art.
We proudly present a fascimile printing of the set in a limited edition, with four new essays written specifically for this edition by Tsar Teh-yun , her students Dr.Lau Chor Wah, Sou Si-Tai, and Dr.James Watt, and a preface by her student Professor Bell Yung.
This set is manufactured by the Chinese University Press, and published by the Music Department of the University of Hong Kong. The project received a major grant from the Arts Development Council Hong Kong, and was further subsidized by the Kwan Fong Chinese Music Teaching and Research Fund of the University of Hong Kong.
